Get Involved . . . Volunteer
LOST PAWS, Inc. looks to the community and volunteers to help keep its door open. If you would like to help out, donating your time and in-kind services can involve activities such as the following:
Adopt-A-THON
Workers
Your time a few hours every other weekend helping us with
our pet
adoption days will enable us to save and care for more dogs. Please
email us if
you would like to help make a difference in our dogs' lives. Sorry,
we
can’t accept volunteers less than 18 years of age.
Towel
Washers
We always need towels donated and
washed weekly. Every cat and every dog gets a nice clean towel at the
Adopt-A-Thons. This just requires to you take home towels once a week
and wash
them.
Luv-A-Pet
Center Weekend Cleaners
We are required to clean the cats up at the Petsmart in Orem
on the
weekends. It requires someone to clean 10 cats’ cages once a month.
Grooming
We always want our dogs to look their best for The
Adopt-A-THONS and
some of our rescues are in great need of a makeover.
Fundraising
We are always in need of help in the fundraising
department. If
you have experience as a fundraiser for non-profit organizations, we
can use
your help. If you would like to organize a fundraising event, we
could use
your help. Any and all ideas are welcome. We also need help with Flyer
circulation announcing special events--posting them & keeping them
current.
We also like to put up flyers at veterinary clinics and pet stores
featuring
current adoptable dogs.
Phone work
This would involve making preliminary calls, new family and
yearly
follow ups.
Grant
Writing
We are also looking for someone experienced in the grant
writing area
of fundraising. Currently, most of our funds are from private donations
from
caring individuals and our adoption fee donations. If you can help us
in this
area, we need you ASAP!

Since LOST PAWS, Inc. is a non-profit organization and
because we try
to use all money raised for the care of our rescues, if you are able to
make a
donation in the form of an item, here are a few ideas: We can
always use
donations of clean blankets and towels. We use these for bedding for
the dogs
that are boarded and we go through them at an incredible rate. We can
also use
donations of nylon or leather leashes. If you would like to
donate
